Our local MOMS Club has organized a workout club to train for a 5k at the end of October. I haven’t joined the MOMS Club yet, but now I plan to! It sounds like we’ll be using an adaptation of the Couch to 5k program to prepare. One of my personal fitness goals has always been to complete a 5k. I won’t be concerned with my time, I just want to cross that finish line!
I’m excited!

Good for you for trying for a 5K!!! I love to run and I’ve done a bunch of them and they are a lot of fun. I don’t try for any kind of time either…..I just wanted to be able to say I did one:) Good luck with the training:)
Thank you! I’m glad to hear that you weren’t in it for the time either and now you’ve done several. Makes me feel like I can do it, too
This is awesome Kristin! One of my friends did that Couch to 5K program, and she not only lost all the weight she wanted, but now she runs all the time and has completed several 5Ks. I think I’d like to do this someday too. Keep me updated how the training goes and everything. Love ya!
So cool to hear that! I’m eager to get started!
I am just finishing week 8 of C25K, today! I am doing my 1st 5k Labor Day wknd. I’M NERVOUS… but really excited too! I read your interview for The Baby Habit and stopped by to check out your blog. Best of luck to you in your journey to the 5k… I’d love to hear how you like C25K!
Good for you! Hope it all goes well – good luck! I’m sure all of your training will pay off. You’ll have to stop by and let me know how it went.
