Hubster and I have been talking about owning an elliptical for the past year or two.  Now that we’re moving to a bigger place and also contemplating gym memberships, we started looking into it more seriously.  After reading a bazillion Amazon reviews between the two of us, we decided that the affordable ones were flimsier than we wanted.

I went to bed that night kind of sad.  Then I had an AHA! moment.  A big one.

We’ve been racking up credit card points since we got married, and the amount of points we have was starting to get pretty impressive.  I discovered that we could trade points for Amazon gift cards!  Combined with a massive sale, we got this fabtastic (yep, I just created that word) Livestrong elliptical for less than $300 out of pocket!  WIN!
