Meet the Family
Hubster is an avid sports fan and a student affairs professional at a university. C is our witty 6-year-old son with a love for vehicles and an interest in figuring out how the world works. Jo is our creative 4-year-old daughter, who loves to use her imagination to create art.
Special Needs Parenting
Our children both have autism. C struggles with sensory processing, and also had a g-tube placed at age 2 for delayed gastric emptying. Jo is a very anxious girl who is sensitive to loud noises. They see the world differently and, as their mother, I embrace neurodiversity and advocate for autism awareness and acceptance.
