Sometimes Pregnancy Gives Me Weird Dreams About My Vagina

I have really vivid dreams during pregnancy – really weird, vivid dreams.  Last night’s dream was just too crazy not to share.

Are you ready to hear about a vagina dream?

In my dream, I was in the hospital about to deliver Baby Deuce.  It was time to push, and I had my legs propped up to my chest.  The doctor went down to catch the baby, but there was a problem.  Things had grown so wildly hairy and beard-like down there that he couldn’t see anything.  He screamed, “NURSE-I need a scalpel!”  I was terrified that he was going to cut me to shreds for forgetting to shave.  That jerkface, I couldn’t see anything past my whale-ish baby bump.  But, no, instead…

Machete-style, he cut a path through the wilderness with the scalpel.

Boom.  There it is – the strangest dream to date during my pregnancy with Baby Deuce.  I’d love to hear about your weird dreams. :)

I Have Weird Dreams

Do you ever wake up in the morning and think, “Where did THAT dream come from?”

I’ve been doing that a lot lately.  I don’t know why, but my dreams have been really odd the past few weeks.

Sometimes I dream about something that someone posted on Facebook, or about someone that I haven’t seen since childhood.  Last night I dreamt that I hired a babysitter for C and he turned out to be a comedian that I’d heard on 24/7 Comedy Radio on my iHeartRadio app.  The night before that, there was a tornado but we couldn’t go to the basement because it was on fire.

Weird stuff, ya’ll.  Any of you who are dream analyzers, feel free to go wild with these. ;)

What weird stuff do you dream about?

What Would You Have Done With the Mega Millions Jackpot?

$640 million.  Can you even fathom that kind of money?  Were you one of the people that rushed to the gas station to purchase a ticket for the Mega Millions jackpot this week?  We didn’t buy one, but that was only because we forgot!  Hubster and I usually play the lottery when the jackpot gets big, because it doesn’t hurt to dream, right?

What would you have done with the jackpot?  Apparently, if you had been the only winner and chose to receive the lump sum, you would have gotten about $250 million.  If you chose to receive a yearly payment, you would have gotten $19 million+ for about 26 years.

I think we would have chosen the yearly payment.  First, our odds of living for 26 more years are quite good considering we’re in our mid-20s.  Second, it would force us to budget our fortune and ensure that we wouldn’t make poor investments with the entire jackpot.

Now comes the fun part…what would you do with that much money?!

I thought about this as I was falling asleep last night, and here are the main things that I came up with:

  • Pay off our student loan debt.
  • Purchase a property in our home state near family and an oceanfront property on the west coast.
  • Make sure that our family’s debts are paid and that none of them needs to worry about living paycheck-to-paycheck.
  • Invite our families to Disney World and rent rooms in the nicest on-property resort.  I think the kids would absolutely love that!
  • Travel to all of the places we’ve ever dreamed of going.
  • Invest in the education of our child(ren) and the children in our family.
  • Donate to charities, such as Feed the Children, World Vision and local domestic violence shelters.
  • Volunteer for local charities.

There are so many important things that someone could do with that much money.  How awesome would it be to be one of the people with a winning ticket?!
