C wore his Mickey Mouse shirt and socks, Baby Jo donned polka dots and I stayed up until 11:30 pm the night before baking delicious treats. That’s right – we had our #DisneySide @ Home Celebration this week! We shared food, fun and all things Disney with our friends at our weekly Moms & Me playgroup at our church.
The kids really enjoyed the coloring station we set up. What’s better than some blank #RunDisney canvases, a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse coloring book, crayons and markers?! Even Baby Jo got in on the fun. Okay, so she tried to eat a marker – but she was excited about it!
Utilizing the adorable Mickey Mouse cookie cutters, I made toddler-friendly marshmallow treats and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches. Yellow cupcakes with red buttercream frosting were dressed up in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cupcake liners.
We enjoyed giving out Mickey stickers, Goofy temporary tattoos, Mickey & Minnie posters, HP photo card packs and Craisins! C loved the cupcakes, er, the frosting. He ate all the frosting, said, “Mmmm, I eat frosting!” Then he informed me he was, “all done cupcake.”
By the end of the party, the kids were running around, chasing each other in a circle. I may have given them a sugar high. Oops, sorry friends! We had a great time with our #DisneySide party and plan to use some of our leftover items to celebrate again next time. Thank you, Disney, BSM Media, HP, American Tourister and Craisins!
