Do you have a date when you feel it’s acceptable to start decorating for the holidays? My husband and I decided that we can start listening to holiday music after November 1st. We typically wait until after Thanksgiving to put up our Christmas tree, but I’m going to let you in on a little secret. I’m planning to bring out the holiday decor even earlier this year! This Burlap and Tulle Winter Wreath is an inconspicuous way to ease into the holiday decor – and it’s a perfect addition to a room with rustic decor.
Materials you will need to create this Burlap and Tulle Winter Wreath:
- Wreath form
- Tulle (I chose blue, white, and glittery silver)
- Pine cone floral pick
Like my Burlap and Tulle Fall Wreath, this wreath is super simple to make even if you don’t consider yourself a crafty person! Cut strips of burlap and tulle.
Pick a color pattern and start tying your burlap and tulle strips around the wreath.
Select the location you want your pine cones. Tie fabric up to that spot. Poke pine cone floral pick through the hole on the wreath form. Bend the pick back and cover it by tying remaining fabric over it.
Once you’ve covered the entire wreath form and completed your pattern, use your scissors to trim any edges that are too long. In less than an hour, you have a rustic winter wreath to add to your winter decor or holiday decor! I can’t decide if I want this wreath on the front door or sitting on our fireplace mantle. Where will you hang your wreath?
