Jeans, boots, hoodies, a warm cup of coffee. Sharing comfort food with loved ones. Fall is in the air, and there is no other season that makes me feel as cozy and nostalgic as autumn. Our family embraces the cliche every year, as we look forward to apple picking and pumpkin farm visits. Apple nachos are a tasty treat to share after a busy day of apple picking. Topped with this easy, two-ingredient chocolate peanut butter sauce, our apple nachos are dreamy!
Yes, two ingredients are all you will need to make this delicious sauce: coffee creamer and chocolate chips. International Delight® can be found at Walmart – and at this price, you can stock up to make the creamy splash of seasonal flavor last! Select International Delight® REESE’S Peanut Butter Cup for your chocolate peanut butter sauce, and International Delight® Pumpkin Pie Spice for the perfect accompaniment in your coffee. You will also need chocolate chips. I used a mix of semi-sweet and milk chocolate for my chocolate peanut butter sauce.
Add 3/4 cup of chocolate chips and 1/4 cup of International Delight® REESE’S Peanut Butter Cup to a jar. You can make this recipe in the microwave by heating the mixture for one minute at 50% power until it is smooth. Or, pour the ingredients into a saucepan and stir with a whisk over low heat on your stovetop.
The result is this creamy, dreamy chocolate peanut butter sauce with the delicious taste of REESE’S. Drizzle it generously over a plate of apple slices. Top with chocolate chips, peanut butter chips and a sprinkle of coconut.
Apple nachos pair well with a warm cup of coffee. To celebrate the season, I add a splash of International Delight® Pumpkin Pie Spice for a delicious swirl of seasonal spice inspired by pumpkin pie. And can you imagine a cup of coffee with REESE’S Peanut Butter Cups in it? Add International Delight® REESE’S Peanut Butter Cup to your coffee to dazzle your sweet tooth.
Who will you share these Apple Nachos with this season? What is your favorite seasonal activity to enjoy with your family?
