An ideal day for my son includes taking a trip to see cars. We’ve taken him on summer outings to local car lots and visits to car shows. My grandparents discovered The Automobile Gallery in Green Bay and knew that C and Jo would love it. They were right!
When you enter The Automobile Gallery, you’re greeted with friendly faces. The people here love cars and are happy to help answer your questions about the vehicles you see. The beautiful contemporary building also has space available for corporate and special events.
There are three cars designated for guests to sit in and enjoy. Our kids had the greatest time getting in and out of these vehicles. We took lots of pictures and explored. Did you know the DeLorean was this low to the ground? That tiny window is the only window on each side of the vehicle! It was the kids’ favorite.
While guests may not touch the rest of the vehicles, most of the windows are rolled down so you can peek inside. C enjoyed walking around the cars to inspect the lights. Since he was a toddler, he memorized his cars by looking at every detail of the front and rear lights.
It was fun to sit in a classic car for a family selfie! C and Jo ran from car to car, gushing over the colors, styles and details. Hubster and I enjoyed reading about the vehicles and looking at some of the pictures from before restoration.
We learned that these vehicles are the personal collection of Wm. “Red” Lewis. Vehicles are occasionally rotated out to provide a new guest experience. The Automobile Gallery is a must-see for the car enthusiast.
